General Settings
Regional, currency, security, order timer, receipt, and unit configuration.
General Settings apply system-wide. Access them from Settings → General. Each section is collapsible — expand, configure, and save.
Regional Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Language | Display language for the Management Software |
| Timezone | Used for all timestamps, reports, and shift tracking |
| Date Format | How dates are displayed throughout the system |
| Time Format | 12-hour (3:30 PM) or 24-hour (15:30) |
Currency & Pricing
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Base Currency | Currency used for all transactions and pricing |
| Symbol Position | Display the currency symbol before or after the amount |
| Decimal Places | Number of decimal places shown on prices (0–4) |
| Default Tax Rate | Tax rate applied to new items by default |
Unit Management
Manage the units available when adding ingredients to recipes. Units are grouped into three categories:

| Weight | Grams, Kilograms, Pounds, Ounces |
| Volume | Millilitres, Litres, Cups, Fluid Ounces |
| Quantity | Pieces, Slices, Dozen, Count |
Add custom units by selecting a category, entering a unit code (e.g. pkg) and a display name. Existing units can be edited or removed.
