PIN Login & Staff Access

How cashiers and staff log in to the Cashier POS tablet using their Employee ID and a 6-digit PIN.

Staff log in to the Cashier POS using their Employee ID and a 6-digit PIN — fast and touchscreen-friendly. No passwords to type at the counter.

Logging in to the Cashier POS

  1. 1
    Open the Cashier POS app
On the tablet, launch the TTT POS app. The login screen appears.
  2. 2
    Enter your Employee ID
Type your Employee ID — automatically generated by the system when your account was created.
  3. 3
    Enter your 6-digit PIN
Tap each digit on the on-screen keypad. Your PIN was set when your Admin created your staff account.
  4. 4
    POS loads
The POS loads with your role permissions applied — Cashier, Manager, or Waiter.
Every staff member has their own unique terminal — multiple people can work their shifts on the same tablet, each logging in with their own Employee ID and PIN.

Staff switching during a shift

When one cashier finishes and another takes over, the current cashier must close the till and end their session first. Once closed, the next cashier logs in with their own Employee ID and PIN and opens a new till session.

Do not share PINs or Employee IDs. Each person using shared credentials is untraceable in reports and the audit log — this creates accountability gaps and risk of undetected cash errors.

Forgotten PIN

Staff who forget their PIN should ask their Admin. Admins can view any staff member's PIN from their record in Staff Management and pass it on in person.
