Every staff member has their own unique terminal — multiple people can work their shifts on the same tablet, each logging in with their own Employee ID and PIN.
Staff switching during a shift
When one cashier finishes and another takes over, the current cashier must close the till and end their session first. Once closed, the next cashier logs in with their own Employee ID and PIN and opens a new till session.
Do not share PINs or Employee IDs. Each person using shared credentials is untraceable in reports and the audit log — this creates accountability gaps and risk of undetected cash errors.
Forgotten PIN
Staff who forget their PIN should ask their Admin. Admins can view any staff member's PIN from their record in Staff Management and pass it on in person.
