Cashier POS Overview

Fast, touch-optimised POS for tablets — orders, payments, receipts, and till management.

The Cashier POS is a tablet application designed for speed. It handles everything that happens at the counter — from order entry to payment confirmation to receipt printing — in a clean, intuitive touchscreen interface.

Key screens

Order Screen
The main view — menu categories on top, item grid below, current order on the right.
Payment Screen
Select payment method, enter amount, and confirm. Supports split across multiple methods.
Receipt
Prints automatically after payment. Includes your branch details and tax breakdown.
Till Session
Open and close your cash drawer shift. Track all transactions for the session.
Order Queue
Live view of all open orders — dine-in tables, takeaway, and delivery in one screen.

Login

Staff log in using their Employee ID and a 6-digit PIN. No passwords to type on a touchscreen. The PIN determines the staff member's role and what they can access on the POS.

Multiple staff can share a tablet and switch between accounts during a shift — each new login starts tracking under that staff member's name.

Offline mode

If internet drops during a shift, the Cashier POS continues working without interruption. Orders, payments, and till data are stored locally and sync to the cloud automatically when the connection returns — with no data loss.

Loyalty card lookups require internet. If offline, a cashier can still process an order but cannot look up or redeem a customer's loyalty balance.
