Taking Orders
Fast order entry with modifiers, addons, notes, and table assignment.
The order screen is designed for speed. An experienced cashier can add items, apply modifiers, and send an order to the kitchen in under 10 seconds.
Adding items to an order
- 1Select a categoryTap a category tab at the top of the screen to filter the item grid.
- 2Tap an itemThe item appears in the order panel on the right. If it has variations, a selection screen appears first.
- 3Add modifiers and addonsRequired addon groups appear automatically before the item is added. Optional addons can be accessed by long-pressing or tapping the item in the order panel.
- 4Adjust quantityUse the + / − buttons on the order line, or tap the quantity to type a number directly.
Notes per item
Tap any order line and select Add Note to attach a free-text kitchen instruction (e.g. "no onions", "well done", "allergy: nuts"). Notes print on the kitchen receipt.
Discounts
| Discount type | How to apply |

| Percentage | Tap Discount → enter a % value → applied to the total or a specific item |
| Fixed amount | Tap Discount → enter a PKR value → deducted from the order total |
| Pre-configured promotions | Select from saved discount codes set up in the Management Software |
Sending to kitchen
Tap Send to Kitchen to fire the order to the kitchen display or print a kitchen receipt. The order status changes to In Progress in the order queue. This does not process payment — the table stays open.
Order types
When starting a new order from the Home screen, select the order type: Dine-In Take-Away or Delivery. The order type is set at slot selection — before the menu opens.
