Cart & Modifiers

How the cart overlay works — tabs, item editing, modifiers, special instructions, and guest management.

The cart overlay sits on top of the menu screen. Tap the cart icon or any order line to open it. The cart has three main tabs: Check, Actions, and Guest.

Check tab

The default tab — shows everything in the current order:

  • All items with quantity, name, and price per line
  • Applied addons and variations listed below each item
  • Item-level notes (e.g. "no onions")
  • Running subtotal, tax, discount, and total

Swipe left on any item to reveal Delete. Swipe right to increase the quantity. Tap the item to open the modifier editor.

Editing an item in the cart

    Tap the item in the cart
    The item modifier panel opens.

    Adjust variations
    Change the size or variation if the item has them.
  3. 3
    Change addons
    Toggle addon options on or off.
  4. 4
    Edit quantity
    Use the + / − buttons or type the quantity.
  5. 5
    Add a note
    Type a free-text kitchen instruction (max 500 characters).
  6. 6
    Save
    The cart updates immediately.

Actions tab

The Actions tab gives access to order-level operations:

Guest tab

The Guest tab handles customer information and loyalty for this order:

  • Search for a customer by phone number to attach them to the order
  • View their current loyalty balance (stamps or points)
  • Apply a loyalty reward to the order
Attaching a customer before charging ensures stamps or points are added to the correct loyalty account automatically — no extra step needed at the payment screen.
